He saw too much. And was bored to death manning the gates.

He should have been patient and waited for an opening in communications or anything BUT SF. He scored so high on the tests that he could have done ANYTHING he wanted as an enlisted, but no . . . he wanted in fast. Live and learn.

But God has used it to teach our youngest some lifelong lessons. And the gracious Lord made a "way of escape" before it was too late. God is so good!

My young lieutenant, on the other hand, absolutely LOVES the AF. His wife, Jane, is now going in as a PILOT. Her dream. She was homeschooled too. But alas . . . that puts off kids for a long time. Sad for this grandma. :-(

And BTW, if you library does not carry the Circle C Adventures, ask them too! Your Brianna, I suspect, would really love them. She can check Andi's blog for a foretaste, LOL

Susan Andi Carterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18237514613040645768noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-626820356307919755.post-21509809090250138182013-07-21T16:17:36.955-07:002013-07-21T16:17:36.955-07:00Susan, I'm so honored that you took the time t...Susan, I'm so honored that you took the time to read my review. :) I hope you saw the follow up. I couldn't keep it to just one post.

My Zachary is currently in Nebraska, but he's been deployed to Qatar and Japan. He's a jet engine mechanic. He went in in 2010. My next 2 boys are talking about trying military life, too.

Can't wait until Book 3 comes out in November! :) My kids were so happy that I bought book 2 for them. Thank you for allowing The Crew to review these fun books! I'll be sure to check the library for your other series. grtlyblesdhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18386260509307925901noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-626820356307919755.post-29235765421750190122013-07-20T18:00:45.090-07:002013-07-20T18:00:45.090-07:00Thanks for the great review. I've seen that kind before!" Our son Ryan (just turned 22) was in the AF too! Enlisted. Security forces at Lakenheath, England. He was medically discharged last November for Meniere's disease, an inner-ear/vertigo/deafness/etc. condition. He was disarmed and good not deploy to the UAE. Diagnosed it just in the nick of time!

Anyway, I was wondering where Zachary was stationed, and how long he's been in so far. our other son, Andrew, is a liet. in cyber communications at Peterson AFB in CO.

~ Susan Marlow (my blogger account is under the name of my character from my other series.
