So, as you know, we're doing "Exploring Countries and Cultures" this year, by My Father's World.
I decided to get out the GeoBlocks (from the GeoPuzzles people) world map blocks this morning.
I tossed them out randomly, and Brianna caught all 3 Axis countries from WW2.
I set the kids to work assembling the blocks into a world map.
Which turns out to be harder than you would think.
The blocks each represent one country.
Maps on two sides
Capital
Some sort of landmark or what the country is known for
and what continent it's on.
Eventually, we figured it out.
Ta da!
And it just so happens that GeoBlocks are on Zulily today!
*Disclaimer: Yes, if you are a first time Zulily shopper, and you purchase through this link, I do get a credit. Said credit will be going toward purchasing cute things for my kids, most likely clothes for Katie, since we got rid of everything smaller than Hannah when we brought her home.
I'm a VERY happy Zulily shopper. They carry great stuff.
We actually have a couple of the GeoPuzzles they're featuring, too.
Hi! I came your way through MomBlogger! I'm also an adoptive mom and look forward to getting to know you! I'm your newest follower!

I like zulily, too! Those blocks look pretty cool, I may have to check those out. And thanks for your comment on the yahoo group. I am leaning towards sending a package now!
