Lukey Samples Happy Family Toddler Food - GIVEAWAY
At Luke's recent visit with his GI doc, the nutritionist offered some suggestions to help Luke start gaining weight again. One of which was adding snacks into his routine. That's why I'm delighted to review Happy Family organic toddler foods. When every bite counts, like it does with Luke, I need to know I'm putting healthy foods into him.
Happy Family foods are organic. They're safe. They don't have artificial sweeteners or flavors, and their packaging is BPA free.
I love how easy Happy Family has made it for us to give Luke something extra throughout the day. Instead of fixing a whole meal at a non-meal time, I can reach for a Happy Baby pouch to feed him and then let him work on some rice cakes to practice his fine motor skills.
Because of his developmental delays, he can't do a pouch all by himself yet, but he can start one, and then I can help him finish it up.
Moving on to the apple flavor rice cakes!
He seemed to really like these, so I made him reach a bit for them.
Would your little one like to try out some Happy Family products?? Giveaway below!
I'm pretty excited about these little toddler bars! We're going to be making a big road trip soon, and I'm planning to bring some of these for my smallest eaters. They'd be good in Hannah's lunches, too.
In another session, Luke got to try out Happy Yogis, a freeze dried yogurt snack.
You can see he's still using a "rake" grasp instead of a "pincer" grasp to pick things up.
Lukey enjoyed these, as well. I was concerned he might have a harder time getting them off the tray than puffs, but he did fine. He's highly motivated when it comes to food. He loves to eat.
I asked Katie to sample the Best Friends Toddler Cookies, which she was quite happy to do! This led to Eli and Jack each wanting to try a cookie, but they wouldn't let me take their picture.
Luke had several cookies, as well. They're very cute, shaped like puppies.
With Luke's doctor recommending a supplemental nutrition drink for him, I'm going to have to check out Happy Child's organic nutrition shakes in vanilla or chocolate.
Happy Family will send one of my readers the Happy Toddler prize package. You will receive a reusable tote bag and coupons for FREE full size Happy Family products worth $25. There's also some nutrition information in there, and even a couple of stickers! I picked up my Happy Family foods at Target, but you can check their store locator to find the retailer nearest you.

I think my Sweet Baby Wilson (our grandson) would love the Happy Tot Toddler Bars.
ReplyDeleteI think my Hannah and Katie will really enjoy those. Luke has a hard time taking a bite of something, and will probably try to shove the whole thing in his mouth.
DeleteMy nephew is 2 and visits often...He loves bar type snacks! I'd love to have something healthy like the tot bars on hand for him!!
ReplyDelete:) Zach's girlfriend has a 2 year old who visits our house regularly. I'll have to offer him one next time he's here.
DeletePS...♡LOVE♡ seeing Lukey in a review!!
ReplyDeleteHe also reviewed Buttons Diapers and Juppy Baby Walker. :)
DeleteMy daughter isn't a fan of the toddler bars--the kale is REALLY green in them and freaks her out. She LOVES the pouches, though, and I love that she still gets fruits and veggies that way.
ReplyDeleteMaybe she'd like the Mixed Berry Crunch flavor better? You can choose which ones you get.
DeleteI think my daughter would like the Peachy Keen Greek Yogurt
ReplyDeleteI don't even like yogurt, and that sounds good, lol! :)
DeleteDoes Luke chew his foods? With our girl she eats good, no weight problems but she mouths her food and then swallows it. With her delays, its been hard to get her to eat the way a toddler does. Thankfully her weight is good as she had a scary, fever induced seizure last weekend and threw up twice majorly. We called an ambulance and had her rushed to the hospital where she made a fast recovery...she ended up wirh a virus but wow was that scary! They said it was related only to the fever, but I wonder still, if it has any part in why she is so delayed. Physically, she is not delayed at all which is good and she is thriving physically, just such a major snails pace in every other area! Pray everyday things change for her and so want to help her, but its been so hard to see how much she could do, but she just doesnt!
ReplyDeleteLuke IS finally chewing now. It was very scary when we got him and he couldn't even chew.
DeletePaul and I both think he's gained weight in the last week. I think we're going to manage to avoid the feeding tube.
I sure hope our daughter chews soon! We hang on each day hopeful and praying we can work things out with her, but we are realistic too. Right now, we are packing and moving our house so I have been continuing my major purge of EVERYTHING ! I think my friends and family are so shocked at what I'm doing, but a bit envious to do the same, honestly. As a society, things become so important that its easy to become overwhelmed and though my girl will stay or not, It really took her coming to us, to realize just how out of balance we have become. I always felt this way, but this profound life I find myself in today, has truly made me demand that people come first. Even if that means, 90 percent of all our numerous possessions goes! I think we are getting close to a 2 car garage full of donations and we arent done yet!!!! I never realied how completely removing major amounts of things we have had for close to 3 decades would feel so great and we are neat nick type people. Everything was literally super organized and I just got massive 33 gallon trash bags and boxes and wiped out section after section, only keeping 5-10 percent of each area and wiping out 100 percent of the majority of other areas!!! I am on a a serious roll! :-) Now, if our house would only sell!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm happy for you! I like most of our "stuff" but I know we could loose a decent chunk of it and not miss it. :) Best wishes with selling your house.
DeleteOh I liked and actually used almost everything I owned, we are pretty much for the most part, homebodies, but one day I just woke up and I felt "heavy"... If that makes sense. I looked at the situation I find myself in with our daughter and realized just how many treasures I have built upon the earth and it just felt like I needed to give much of it up. I have always donated things, but have Never been so radical, but for some reason I just need to be at this point in my life. I just feel like I need to be all in with God and to surrender to a simpler way of living and being! I really think many of my friends and family feel like they want to travel lighter and have gotten inspired by my purge, but I would never think any rational person would do what I and my family are doing, its crazy, admittingly. But, I think where I am at in my life, I will turn 42 in a few weeks and am excited to begin my second chapter in a whole new way and for some reason it is exciting to me! While we have never been rich, truly acquiring so much has changed me into feeling like I am not me anymore and the only true thing I desire is to be humble. I crave simple, so while we build yet again, this time I have chosen an area to live in that truly has a complete down to earth, friendly feel. The new place will be minutes from my church which truly accepts people, not their status or accomplishments, and That is where I come from and where my roots originated. I grew up blue collar, but have lived for decades in a white collar world and while I love ALL people no matter what their background, admittingly, I miss how And where I grew up. The new place satisfies my desire to have a clean house far as no past allergy problems in the home, which is why we build ONLY in the first place, but the land the house will sit will be near a walking trail and near older, more established, smaller homes. Its been decades since I have lived anywhere like my Old hometown and it feels good to have a merging of my old life WITH the new. But, in the end, home is where I can feel God and am with my family, and it doesn't get any better then that. If our entire family, all if us were not so allergenic, we could be happy living in a 200 sq ft house!!! :-) As weird individuals, we really only use that much space, ALL of us, anyways!!! ;-0
ReplyDeleteI hope your move goes really well. :)
DeleteI really like the Happy Tot organic greek yogurt and I'm sure my son would too!
ReplyDelete:) Best of luck to you!
DeleteI really love these pouch foods even though I thought I wouldn't. We are on the road so much for medical stuff it's been great to grab a pouch, throw it on the dash to warm in the sun or in the plug-in babyfood warmer and then serve.
ReplyDeleteI was late on this bandwagon, myself, but they're SO convenient. We have a couple of the little spoons that screw onto pouches that we used before Luke learned to close his lips around the spout.
DeleteI'd definitely have to try the squeeze pouches for Major!
ReplyDeleteI thought they were a dumb idea when they first came out, now I'm embarrassed to admit how many pouch lids we've collected (for a tot tray for Katie).
DeleteHarlan LOVES Happy Family products. We actually find them fairly often at our Big Lots for incredibly big bargins.
ReplyDeleteGood to know! Thanks!
DeleteI think my son would love the pouches. He loves his fruits and veggies and loves being independent.
ReplyDeleteSounds like a great match! :)
DeleteBaby has just started on solids. I'll need to check these out.
ReplyDeleteDanette
Seriously can't believe she's that big already! :sigh: I never get out any more. Sometime when it's not 108* out, we should hang out at the park again.
DeleteI think both of my toddlers would love the toddler bars.
ReplyDeleteTwo toddlers! Fun stuff! :) I had 2 two year olds for a couple months last year--Katie and Luke are 10 months apart.
DeleteMy son would love the toddler bars!
ReplyDeleteGood luck to you!
DeleteI think my son would like the happy puffs.
ReplyDeleteLuke loves puffs. :) We'll be taking those with us when we travel soon.
DeleteMy daughter would love the banana happy puffs!
ReplyDeleteWe haven't tried the banana flavor yet. *I* don't like bananas, and I'm afraid I might not like the smell. But we do buy the purple ones and green ones.
DeleteI believe my niece would love the super nutrition shake!!! :) She already loves her veggies and fruits!! This would be VERY useful! Thank you!!!
ReplyDeleteI printed a coupon for the shakes, and I'm hoping to find them soon.
DeleteMy little girl would love the happy tot toddler cookies: chocolate pumpkin!
