Sister Eve and the Blue Nun

This a fun read and, for me, a glimpse into another culture:  Catholicism.  Sister Eve and the Blue Nun takes place in New Mexico, at a monastery.

There’s a big conference about to take place at the monastery, only the keynote speaker gets murdered the night before her presentation.  The evidence points toward one of the monks, but Sister Eve just knows it couldn’t have been him.  She sets out to prove it’s not him, and try to find the real killer.

Along the way, she has dealings with suspicious small town folks, a reclusive Vietnam veteran, a park ranger who may have saved her life, and a police detective that makes her heart flutter.

Sister Eve and the Blue Nun is book 3 in the series, and I liked it enough that I would like to go back and read the first two, Sister Eve, Private Eye and The Case of the Sin City Sister.  I can't help but wonder, if the author continues the series, whether Eve will decide to continue being a nun (at a different location) or if she'll chose lay life instead.
