Easter and Pictures

I hope you had a happy Easter.  Ours was quiet, but still fun.

I took the girls out front for some pictures.

My intention was updating my collage.  I like to keep a fairly current grid of all the kids merged into one image.

The girls are pretty good about letting me take pictures.

As long as the sun isn't shining in their faces, they're cooperative for a while.

Jack even put a button shirt on for me.

His real smile comes out for the cat.

In case you're wondering why Hannah's not wearing her glasses in any of the previous pictures.  Hate. Transition. Lenses.

I don't usually do Easter gift baskets, but this year, I happened to have the pink & purple bunnies for the girls from the respite at home program, so they got those and peeps in their buckets.  Jack got candy and a new shirt.  Josiah & Sam got a little pouch of loot to keep in their cars.  Random things they might need while away from home.

The annual "Before the hunt" photo.  I think we're getting close to the end of our egg hunt days.  Jack gave most of his candy to Hannah this year.  Might be time to pass our tote full of eggs on to another family next year.

Josiah and I filled the eggs the night before, and I told the kids there were 14 of each color.

Except Katie found 16 pinks.  Oops.  I knew it was an even number.  Keep looking, Green and Purple.  There's 16 after all.

I was impressed she got the bird feeder egg.  And a little sad that her dress is so short.  And glad she was wearing shorts.  She's definitely had a growth spurt recently.

Notice Grumman came out to observe the proceedings.

My pretty girl.

Counting, counting

Updating my Josiah picture.

Okay, how about one without the sunglasses?

Sam took a few more days to capture, as he was working on Easter.

"Wait!  My teeth were showing, take another one."

My new collage.

And my 2019 collage for comparison's sake.  Most of these (except Sam) were taken at Paul's promotion in November.

    1. Thanks, Dawn! I love taking pictures of them, more than they love being photographed, lol.

  2. What a beautiful family!!! Happy Easter!!

We actually asked our Belle if she wanted to do the Easter egg hunt or if she just wanted her loot in her basket. She yelped, "I want to do the hunt!" I guess I'm glad our Easter egg hunt days aren't over yet. :)
