In Perfect Time book review and Kindle GIVEAWAY

Kay is a flirtatious flight nurse during WW2.  Roger is a "good boy" pilot.  They're both decent people, working through the difficult era the best they can.  Kay believes that she's too far gone for God to save, and Roger thinks he can't ask her to give up the house with the picket fence she dreams of to follow a nomadic drummer's lifestyle.  They alternate between friends, enemies, and aloofness until they manage to work things out, but not before dangerous escapades after landing behind enemy lines.

Don't miss Sarah Sundin's hot-off-the-press novel, In Perfect Time. Publishers Weekly gives it an enthusiastic thumbs up: “Sundin excels at well-researched historical detail . . . with such accurate depictions of culture and setting that we are fully immersed in the times as well as in the story. The strength of relationships forged in war and the apprehension of God in times of trouble infuse this well-crafted novel with substance and light.”

  1. Oh man, the love/hate thing for book reviews is happening again with me :) HAHA! This sounds like another great book! Thanks for the review and giveaway! Maybe I'll win and I'll be sure to read it by placing it on top of my "must read" pile(s) :)

    1. LOL! I have a bad habit of staying up too late, reading, when dh is at work. It's the only time the house is quiet enough for me to really get lost in the story. --I usually pay for it the next day, though.

  2. Hmm... I'm studying modern history this year with my kids. I like historical fiction that helps me to picture that time period. This sounds like an interesting book.

    1. Oh, when we did ancient history and I read The Queen's Handmaid, it was so much more real for me, because I was already immersed in the time period! Another author I'd suggest for the WW2/aftermath era is Bodie Theone.

  3. Scheki - thank you so much for the wonderful review! I'm so glad you enjoyed Kay & Roger's story. I would recommend my novels for homeschoolers studying WWII - but only for high school. Some of the subjects might be too much for younger kids. I didn't let my own kids read my books until high school :)

    1. Brianna starts high school in 2 weeks. She's a voracious reader, who enjoys many of the "hand me downs" she gets from me reviewing books. I just recently handed her this one, but I don't know if she's finished it yet. She isn't home for me to ask right now. I enjoyed this one enough to put the other two on my library list. :)
