For June, we had a lot going on, so we didn't do as many tot trays as last month, but I still have a few to share with you.
First up, I took the two simplest pattern block cards from our stash and just enough pattern block pieces to do those two cards and put them in Katie's tot tray.
This month, we got into WATER BEADS! Oh, my! Everyone in the house played with these! They're sensory/tactile fun!
I'll be doing a post on how we "made" them and our experiences with them soon. Katie practiced pouring them back and forth between cups, and listening to the sound they make when poured back into the tray.
They were such a hit in our house.
More dot marker fun.
Another tray this month was Lacing Beads.
Not only are these fun to lace, this particular set is very block-like, and fun to build with, too!
After the yellow water beads, Katie wanted to do some green ones. (Excuse the PJs and after-bath hair!)
I hope this gives you some ideas for fun, simple activities you can plan ahead and pull out as needed for your little one. If you missed it, here is Katie's Tot Trays for May. Stay tuned and see what we come up with next month!
