When I saw the opportunity to review a stroller organizer from Children 'n Us, I wondered if it would work for Luke's wheelchair.
After all, the pictures showed it on a bike, as well as a stroller, so I thought it might adapt to wheelchairs, too.
And it did!
This shows the organizer open on the back of Luke's wheelchair.
The parent/teacher communication notebook, his lunch, bib, change of clothes, and touchy feely book all fit in with room to spare (we send diapers to keep in the classroom, rather than on a daily basis).
And with the magnetic snap flap closed, to keep everything in place.
The organizer is durable and well made, and the straps are very adjustable. After the first day, it was rubbing against the tires because it wasn't up high enough, so instead of fastening each side around a handle post, I fastened the clip from the left side to the right side, and now it's higher, so it stays out of the way of the tires.
It would be super easy to unclip the organizer and use it on our double stroller, if needed.

OOH! More space is something we can always use -- the basket on the bottom of Damien's Convaid Cruiser is tiny at best, and not easy to access. I'm going to be looking at this one!
ReplyDeleteThose look nice (and 1/6 of the cost)! I'd much rather just use a stroller with Luke, but he needed the wheelchair for the bus. It's heavier than Hannah's chair because of the transit features.
DeleteThat looks like a great organizer. It looks nice and sturdy, too.
ReplyDeleteYes, it seems to be well made. I'm hoping it holds up for a good long while.
DeleteI like it! It's nice that it's so adaptable, too.
ReplyDeleteIt really is. Luke uses it for school, but it could easily work for other applications, as well.
DeleteI have a stroller organizer by Dot&Dot. It also has an adjustable strap so it can be transferred to different strollers, to the back of the car seat or it can also be used as a mini diaper bag.
ReplyDeleteThat was the one down side that I noticed. I think it needs an optional carry strap so that it can be taken off the stroller/wheelchair/bike and used as a bag.
