From the airport

The first fight was exciting. I was so happy to finally be on my way. Now, however, I've been up more than 14 hours, and I still have a long way to go.

I don't think they realize how demoralizing the slow moving airplane on the screen is. I've been sitting here for 4 hours, and we're not even half way.

Can't actually post this until we land in Beijing, at which point I should be grateful instead of complaining.

I've been wondering what Luke's "Gotcha" day will be like. Even though I've read hundreds of stories, watch vids on YouTube, and been through it once before, I know every child, every story, is different. I guess I'll find out in 20 hours.

Unable to acces Facebook from Beijing airport. Hopefully I'll get it figured out at the hotel later.

Update: at hotel. 2:30 am here. Luke arrives in 12.5 hours. Going to try to nap on this brick bed (methinks the pillow top at home has me spoiled).  Next time I post I'll either be pacing anxiously, or I'll have pictures of my baby to share!

Thanks for following along, and thanks for all the encouraging notes on Facebook. So many of you are a part of our story. Love you guys.
