Just waiting

Got a 3 hour nap early this morning, then took a tepid bath (the water never got hot) and went in search of the breakfast buffet. After playing charades with the egg man, I got a couple scrambled eggs, pineapple, a piece of bacon and a piece of sausage, and, oh yeah, a potsticker and some mein. I love the breakfast buffet. I should have brought a yogurt back to the room for Luke, but I didn't remember seeing a mini fridge, so I skipped it. Now that I'm back in the room, I see that we do, in fact, have a mini fridge, stocked full of beer, soda, milk, and juice. I think I can still fit a yogurt in there tomorrow, lol.

Once I finished breakfast, I explored a little.  I found the pool and the business room, which I may have to resort to using soon, as MY CHARGER (for my phone and iPad) IS NOT WORKING. Paul is bringing his, but I'll be out of battery long before Sunday. I think the phone will die today, actually.

I stopped at the front desk to ask for a crib.  More charades ensued. (Rocking a baby and sleep hands to cheek.)  A little while ago, housekeeping brought up crib, bedding, stroller and baby tub. Score!

After the crib was set up, it was looking awfully pink, so I pulled out Luke's bunny and the tag blankie I made him to neutralize the pink a little.

6 more hours until he's supposed to be here!

  1. Hi, I just happen to stumble across your blog recently. My daughter, Mia, was adopted from China in August 2011, she was 9 years old at the time. I love reading adoption blogs! I am looking forward to following your journey...thanks for sharing!! Julie from Illinois
