Just got off the phone with the anesthesiologist. Lukey is all set to go for his sedated MRI tomorrow morning.
Mr Luke is finally starting to touch things to his mouth. Not IN the mouth, but TO the mouth, at least.
Maybe not always the most appropriate things, but it's absolutely a step in the right direction. Hey, at least it's natural bubble bath, and not cat food, right?
This picture is really exciting to me. If you can get past the pink bib on the blue baby, you'll notice that he's HOLDING the cracker. This is still hit and miss with his sensory issues. Most of the time when we put something in his hand, he drops it immediately.
After having him hold the cracker, and bringing it to his mouth for him, and closing his chin to bite off a piece for him a couple of times, he decided he liked Spinach/Apple/Kale wafers (yuck!) and he put it back in his own mouth. For the first time. Ever.
Please be thinking of our little guy tomorrow as he goes under. No mother like to have their child anesthetized, but hopefully this will give his neurologist the info he needs to give us some answers next week.
Have you clicked for us today? Thanks a million! :)
Definitely praying for ALL of you!
