Lukey's hair was getting out of control. Sam even put barrettes in it.
Sam and Luke are cute together.
But they both needed haircuts.
I finally took some action.
I know it's not his "first" haircut, but it's his first one with us.
He did surprisingly well with the whole crazy idea!
A couple days post-haircut, Luke got his first Durable Medical Equipment. :sigh: The milestones only a special needs mom could love?
This is his physical therapist and his infant development teacher taking him for a cruise around the kitchen with his new stander/walker. He's just too big for the Elmo walker we borrowed from a friend. His PT really wants to see him up and engaged, rather than on his back all day long.
And this little missy? She gets really insecure when we have "strangers" in the house. It's not uncommon, and it's not surprising, but it can be frustrating. I don't know if she's reacting to the weird people, the change in the routine, or the fact that during therapy, it's all about Lukey, but it makes balancing everyone's needs just that much more challenging.
But she's still pretty stinkin' cute.
Thanks for clicking for us!
Wow, Luke has a stander!!!!! Of course it's going to make you happy! I've seen so many people wish for these and have to jump through so many insurance hoops to get them. My baby starts her PT and OT this week!
ReplyDeleteIt's a loaner from EI. The PT was the one to bring it up, even. Good luck with PT and OT! We don't get OT. I've asked, but they say the Infant Development Teacher covers that "somewhat." I think his feeding therapist covers it more than the teacher does, but whatever.
