It had been more than 2 years since we'd seen him in person.
And while phone calls are nice,
it's just not the same
as having my Zach Zach here
where we can enjoy him.
Now 9/10ths of my kids are home. I'm just missing my big girl. Like, a lot.

But I'm enjoying the heck out of having my boy here. It's looking like this will be the first Thanksgiving and Christmas since 2009 that we'll have him with us. My mama heart is bursting with happiness.

ReplyDeleteThank him, you, and the rest of your family for his/your/their service and sacrifice.
Military families have a special place in our hearts. We can't express it enough. :)
:) Thank you.

ReplyDeleteMy son is coming home from Japan this month. I have only got to see him once in 35 months so I so understand your excitement!
Congratulations!!! Z spent time in Japan, too. Best wishes for a lovely homecoming.
