The First Christmas Night review and GIVEAWAY

I have a beautiful book to share with you today!  The First Christmas Night was written by Keith Christopher, who has a background in music, and the breathtaking illustrations were done by Christine Kornacki, who also illustrated The Sparkle Box.


Written in a rhyming style that mimics 'Twas The Night Before Christmas, this book is a lovely retelling of the birth of Christ.  Another great offering from Ideals Books, this one is intended for ages 4-8, although it can easily be enjoyed by those both younger and older.  This hardcover book with dust jacket has a retail price of $16.99.   You can connect with Ideals Books on Facebook.

    I would love to win this book for Alyssa as a Christmas present. We have a tradition every year - I buy a new Cheistian Christmas book for her to open on Christmas Day. I also wrap a figurine of Baby Jesus in a special box for her to open and then I retell the story of Jesus's birth. If I won this book, then I could read it aloud every year.
