Homeschool Weekly Wrap Up #11

Here is Josiah taking apart an air compressor.  Call it "life skills."  Or "applied mechanics" or something.

This week we've studied history from the deaths of Jacob and Joseph, through Moses.  We're five commandments into The Ten Commandments.

We drew Egyptian style tomb walls for ourselves.

We're listening to The Golden Goblet as an audiobook.  The setting is Ancient Egypt.

We learned about Hammurabi's Laws.

Although 2 of the chrysalises detached from the paper liner, the others kept hanging when moved to the side of the cage.

Which leaves us with 6 hanging.  2 emerged on Saturday, but I'll have to wait until Paul comes home to get pictures.

If you read Organic Matcha, you may recognize the green powder I tossed in with the lentils.  We had a lentil recipe in our curriculum recently, and enough of the kids tolerated the lentils that I decided to make them again this week.

Sarcophagus, anyone?

Next week, we're looking forward to starting the plagues of Egypt.
