Immortal Energy

I received a sample of Immortal Energy from Immortal Herbs for review purposes.

Reading the list of ingredients reminded me of visiting the herb market in China.  I still miss China.  I'm hoping to take the girls back in about 5 years for a heritage visit.

Looking at the packaging, I found the Manufactured In California label, which reassured me that these were made to American standards, using organic herbs.

As for my personal experience...

I've been on a quest to replace my diet soda habit with something better for me.  Since the dosage is vague (take 3-4 capsules as needed) and I wanted to see how my body reacted, I tried just one the first time.  I didn't notice any difference in my energy level, but neither did I have any weird reactions.  (My body is pretty sensitive, so this is a consideration.)  The next time, I tried 2 capsules.  Again, I didn't feel anything different.

On Halloween, I thought to myself, "If ever there's an evening I could use a little energy boost, it's tonight."  I knew I had to take 8 hyped up kids out by myself and deal with them until the sugar wore off.  So I took 3 Immortal Energy capsules.

Our plan was to go to a church festival and maybe do a loop around our block after we got home.   Maybe.  Unfortunately, I discovered that Someone hadn't put the double stroller back in the van the last time he used it, so I was stuck hauling Luke around at the festival.  I was Not Happy about that fact.

We didn't stay at the festival as long as we would have if we'd had the stroller with us, so I agreed to a lap around the block after we got home and put the littles into said missing stroller.

One lap turned into two.  Which branched out into a few cul-de-sacs, as well.  The kids we so surprised that we walked a significant portion of our neighborhood.  I have to admit, I felt pretty peppy that night.

I used the final 3 capsules in the sample I received on a day when I didn't get my usual afternoon rest time, to power through the after school/dinner/baths/bedtime hours.  I like that it didn't keep me from sleeping when I went to bed at night.

Immortal Energy sells for $59.95 for 90 capsules.  You can connect with Immortal Herbs on Facebook or Twitter.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

There's an explanation for all these herbs on the product web page, but you have to click "ingredients" under the Add To Cart button, so it's a little hard to see.

  2. YMMV, but there is a lot of reluctance amongst the Chinese American community to use anything at all sourced from China, as these herbs are. My Chinese oncologist was open to herbal remedies to complement her treatment, but only US grown ones.

    1. That's interesting! I'll have to ask my Chinese dentist what he thinks. These look to be well tested, according to the website, http://www.immortalherbs.com/quality-assurance-2/ but I certainly understand your concern.
