CityGrips & Cityhooks GIVEAWAY

I recently received a fun little package from the great folks at Choopie.  I was sent CityGrips in both single bar and double handle varieties, and a pair of Cityhooks to review.

CityGrips come in a variety of patterns and colors.  I chose zebra.

I wanted to see if the double handle variety would fit on Hannah's wheelchair.

Well lookie there!  They do fit!

I have to say, her little pink chair looks pretty snazzy with the CityGrips on.

The hooks are easy to install and adjust, and are super handy!

They attach with a simple strip of velcro, and the hooks swivel in two directions.

I hit a snag when first trying the CityGrips on my big, double stroller.  It didn't quite go around the handle.

I could barely stretch it to meet at the corners.

They fit just fine on the little single stroller we picked up in China.  And they fit almost all standard strollers.

Fortunately, I picked up some double sided velcro at the fabric store, and was able to make them work.

I cut the velcro to the same size as the CityGrips.

This shows the handle upside down, so you can see the extra velcro.

CityGrips sell for $12.95, and Cityhooks sell for $9.95.  Choopie has graciously allowed me to give away one set of CityGrips, either style, in your choice of pattern.

Choopie is also allowing me to share a special discount code with you!  GB50OFF will give you 50% off your purchase of CityGrips or Cityhooks.  While you're there shopping, be sure to check out their Soho Citybag, a spring-open diaper bag.

  2. These look like they would work great on a walker for some people I know at the senior center. Really cool!

    1. Yes, it would really help at amusement parks, when your stroller is parked with dozens of others.
