Audrey Bunny Review and GIVEAWAY

I love it when the mailman brings packages!  This time he brought us Audrey Bunny, by Angie Smith.  This sweet book arrived at our house a couple days ago, and opening it brightened my day.  I was excited to read it to the girls, and once Paul was home, I enlisted him to take a few pictures for me.

Oh, my!  The sweet illustrations by Breezy Brookshire are just precious!  There is a lovely amount of detail in the backgrounds of the store, bedroom, and classroom.   The illustrations in this book make me smile.

The premise of the book is easily understood in this video:

As the mother of two girls with visible differences, I totally teared up while reading this book!  This book beautifully described what I want them to feel and understand:  they are loved just the way they are.  They are special.  God made them, and He didn't make a mistake.

The Parent Connection page in the back of the book helps you ask engaging questions after the story to help kids make the application from story to personal.  There is also a project kids can do.

This lovely, 32 page, hardcover book with dust jacket retails for $14.99, and is available at B&H Publishing Group or on Amazon.  I am delighted to be able to give away a copy of this special book to one of my readers!

  1. So glad I found you. This book looks beautiful. I've been trying to collect different books like this because my husband and I are in the process of adopting right now. :)
