Pictures at the Park

We needed to return a library book, so we made a trip to the library with a park, and I brought the camera.

"Hey there, Mr. Bunny, whatcha readin'?"

I like photographing the little girls because they don't roll their eyes at me yet when I want to take pictures of them.

Jack is starting to get to that point.  He still humors me, but it's not his favorite.

It was 97*!  This was the first time it's been warm enough for the girls to wear these tank dresses.

It's so nice to get big grins from Katie.  For the first several months after she joined our family, she had no idea how to smile for the camera.  I captured lots of grimaces back then.  Hard to believe it will be 3 years next month!

Hannah remains afraid of heights.

She's not up very high, but she was distinctly uncomfortable up there.

After some pictures, they played for a while.

Only it was so amusing, I ended up taking more pictures while they were playing.

This is Hannah's "Grrr!" face on the tiger.

It felt really good to get out of the house and get some sunshine and fresh air.  It was pretty warm, though, so we decided to grab some books at the library and go home for lunch.

This board book cracked me up.  Solidarity, little cloud.  I feel ya.

On the way home from the library, the van was silent, as the kids were all reading their new books.  I hope we can get back into the habit of making the library a weekly occurrence.  Even though I couldn't get anything for myself this trip because I have too many review books in my stack right now, it's great to have the kids telling me all sorts of facts out of their new reading materials.

    1. Thank you! I've been the recipient of all sorts of interesting information from this batch of library books. I did not know that iguanas were good swimmers! :D
